LinkedIn is the world’s largest professional network, with more than 400 million members. No surprise then that it offers organisations a great platform to attract talent. Keen to capitalise on this, Zurich Insurance wanted to educate their employees on how to leverage the medium for themselves and the business. Initially Zurich created their own PowerPoint presentations, but with no way of checking whether the message was being absorbed, they came to us to create a more engaging and effective tool. In pretty quick time too.
Our aim was to give Zurich’s employees the tools and knowledge to become genuine talent ambassadors. So we created three engaging and interactive eLearning modules – aimed at Zurich’s Global talent teams, Group HR and employees. From LinkedIn basics to sharing job vacancies, we brought content to life through interactive elements including hotspots, engaging content and knowledge checks. As well as providing the ability to track completion, the modules also allowed Zurich to test employee knowledge through short, interactive quizzes. And every results page was customised too, making the whole thing a personalised experience.
The modules have only recently gone live, so it’s still early days. But feedback to date has been overwhelmingly positive. So much so, that we have also created a supplementary interactive PDF version of all three modules for the Talent team to use in face-to-face sessions, and printable learner takeaways to enable learning sustainment.
''We asked Havas to support us in developing a series of modules which build the fundamental knowledge on ‘what is LinkedIn’, how you can develop your personal and professional brand and how you can leverage it to support our talent acquisition strategy. The modules have been received extremely well due to their simplicity, interactive design and engaging content. Consequently we have now been asked to roll this out to our wider employee database''
