CASE STUDY: WSP - FUTURE CITIESshaping a future where society can thrive
The Challenge
From The Shard in London to the Fire-Breathing Dragon Bridge in Vietnam, WSP are an engineering consultancy focused on shaping a future where society can thrive. It’s an exciting place to work with iconic projects to work on, but not too many people truly understand the influence they have on the world we live in. To attract students to their graduate programmes, we needed to raise awareness of what WSP do and what they believe.
The Solution
We created Future Cities. A beautifully-crafted progressive web app game that saw participants answer a series of questions shaped around their future hopes for travel, the environment, technology, climate change and their own careers amongst other topics. As they answered, their future city began to develop before being revealed to them in all its stunning glory.
The Results
Future Cities headed to universities across the UK along with being promoted socially. As well as encouraging participation, it also formed the backdrop for further content and viewpoints from current WSP employees. In the first month of being live, the quiz attracted over 2,000 participants.
