CASE STUDY
Mars
We created an immersive, gamified virtual experience called “The Vault of Secrets” to introduce Mars to US students, making the brand more engaging and encouraging applications.
The Challenge
M&Ms. Snickers. Skittles. If the US student audience knew of Mars, they didn’t know them by name. And they most certainly weren’t chomping at the bit to start working for them.
We needed to show them the real Mars, why they should be excited by their early talent opportunities and help them navigate their tricky internship process – online, and with $30k.
The Solution
We needed a clever virtual strategy and a big idea. So, we created ‘The Vault of Secrets’.
An immersive, gamified online experience that would help US students learn about Mars in a memorable way – and then encourage them to apply.
The Results
3D animation. A fun and engaging script, delivered by a larger-than-life host (the bubbly and brilliant Carmina). And a semi-live approach. We delivered a 20-minute virtual experience with no technical hiccups and 93% audience retention.
Meaning not only did more US students now know Mars – they were interested in working for them too.
